  I do enjoy coming here. The old owners had great entertainment such as open mic nights but the food was awful.
  
  However, now the food is fairly good and reasonably priced. The set menus for events such as mother's Day are nice.
  
  On the other hand, the look of the pub isn't at all appealing and the co-owner/waiter isn't friendly at all.

The Supporters Group have been successful in their campaign to keep the Red Lion open and the pub is now run by local publican Jack Woodstock. The pub is registered as an Asset of Community Value and the Supporters Group is now dormant.
